From time to time I come across certain tools that help make my life as an SEO consultant so much easier.

Today I want to share with you one tool that fits that description perfectly.

When I am trying to help small businesses not only climb the rankings but also build a brand I use guest posting on high traffic blogs as one of the core strategies.

The hard part about guest posting is finding the right blogs to submit to and then waiting for them to approve your guest post.

That is how I found

Super Updated List Of Blogs

Guest Post Tracker (GPT) is a curated, constantly updated list of blogs that accept guest posts. As of the writing of this review they have almost 600 blogs that will allow you to submit a guest post.

There are other lists out there that blog owners have put together which you can view at Sodapdf. The problem with those other lists is that they don’t keep the lists updated and many of the blogs on the list no longer accept guest posts.

That is why I use GPT. I can quickly browse to the appropriate category, look at the list and choose the blog that I want to submit a post to.

Their list has saved me more time than I can even say.

Tracking Software

When you join GPT you not only get access to the list of blogs, but they also have tracking software that allows you to keep track of all of your submissions.

It tracks the date of the guest post and the anchor text you were targeting in the post.

Believe me, when you are trying to keep track of more than a few guest post submissions, this becomes an extremely helpful tool.

The Cons Of GPT

The one thing some people might not like about Guest Post Tracker is they do charge a fee to get access to the list.

In reality this is nothing compared to the time you save not having to find blogs yourself. I could literally spend a half a day searching on my own trying to find 1-2 blogs that would accept my guest post. I can find 2 quality blogs in 30 seconds on the site.

So I am happy to pay the $5 per month so they always keep an updated list.

One other thing that people may not like about the list is there are many blogs that charge a fee to add a guest post.

While the list does have both Free and Paid blogs, over half of them are paid blogs and I do want GPT to add more free options (which they seem to be doing daily).

Here is why I love having both options. With the free blogs, they get more requests for submissions and are usually more strict in their submission rules and so it is more difficult to actually get a guest post approved.

The paid blogs do have guidelines but since you are paying they are much quicker to approve your post (usually they have mine up within 48 hours).

Final Thoughts

I’ve been using Guest Post Tracker pretty much since it launched. A couple of things I have noticed that really stand out to me:
1. They are constantly improving the software and the user experience.
2. For me, the software/list of blogs is worth a lot more than what I paid for it. For me having a membership and using the site is an absolute no brainer.

If you do or want to do guest posting I highly recommend the tool. (No, they are NOT paying me for this review)

SEO London, they give you access to the submission guidelines page for every blog and getting them to approve your post is up to you.
